Dachet has its own station with direct trains taking a little under an hour into London Waterloo and access onto the M4 motorway also close by.

Schools

Eton End is an independent, co-ed, primary school with secondary education provided by Churchmead School. Otherwise the next nearest schools would be those in neighbouring Windsor and a number of respected independents across the surrounding areas.

Amenities

A Tesco Express is situated on the outskirts of the village centre on Horton Road complimented by the smaller, Datchet Food & Wine, village convenience store. Along with a handful of independent retailers, there is a Costa Coffee and The Royal Stag pub and restaurant.

Leisure

There is boat hire through Kris Cruises on the Thames as well as Liquid Leisure, an obstacle-course themed water park operating from a nearby lake. Datchet has its own cricket club and golf course as well as the Thames Valley Athletics Centre. On the way out of Datchet towards Old Windsor is the Windsor Farm Shop offering locally farmed produce from the Royal estate.
