Today Bourne End is a bustling village with a lovely town centre, railway station and marina.
Bourne End is close to the A404 which gives it perfect access to both the M4 and M40 which in turn link to the M25 and make Heathrow very accessible. With its own train station, it has good links to London.
School options are excellent in Bourne End with Claytons and Westfield as primary options and Bourne End Academy for secondary. There are also a number of Grammar and Independent schools in nearby Marlow, Maidenhead and High Wycombe.
With a bustling high street made up of multiple supermarkets, café’s, and a few independent retailers, Bourne End has all you need, and with Marlow less than 3 miles away by water or car the access to Michelin starred restaurants, Regattas and more lively entertainment is second to none.
The walks along the river from Bourne End are beautiful and to the south of the village is Cliveden a spectacular National Trust property and incredible grounds. With boats to hire from Cliveden and moorings in Bourne End Marina, there is plenty to do on or off the water.
